Knocking Down Barriers

There are many barriers to adoption of new technology and at energiebee we are committed reducing or removing them altogether.

Compatibility is Key

“Any color the customer wants, as long as it’s black.” –  Henry Ford 1909

energiebee has been developed to be retrofittable to any inverter on the market or those already installed and we are working with inverter manufacturers to have out technology integrated into their products. Our aim is to become the de facto CT clamp and energy monitor in the marketplace.

Reducing Cost

“You seldom improve quality by cutting costs, but you can often cut costs by improving quality.” – Karl Albrecht Circa 1975

energiebee has been built from the ground up to be a unique device based around the management and monitoring of energy. The way it has been designed keeps it streamlined for its purpose which keeps costs down and efficiency up. This provides a rapid return on investment for the customer and reduced this age-old barrier.

Simple to use

“A user interface is like a joke. If you have to explain it, it’s not that good.” – Martin Leblanc 2014

We have kept all our smarts hidden away inside the box so if you just want energiebee to get on with saving you money and reducing your energy use then it’s just a matter of installing it. You can interact with through you digital assistant, and you can log-in to the portal if you want detailed feedback but ultimately it’s as simple as pie.

You can go further than just selling energy from a home battery, you can choose to include your EV battery when you don’t need the car.

energiebee uses data from a wide variety of sources to make intelligent decisions in advance of events. For example, tomorrow’s weather forecast, the state of charge of your batteries, your car battery, tariff changes and fluctuations, your routines and input from the user (eg ‘Alexa, tell energiebee I’m have two guests for the weekend’).

All these inputs get your system in the right state to best take advantage of the available energy production, reduce costs and maximise energy shifting which helps the grid even more.
